The Facade

The facade’s Arabic calligraphy features quotes from Sheikh Mohammed. “We may not live for hundreds of years, but the products of our creativity can leave a legacy long after we are gone,” one of the quotes says. and “Those who can envision, create, and carry out the future are the ones who truly own it. The future does not wait… The future can be designed and built today.

The facade is made up of 1,024 plates that were entirely produced by robots in the Middle East. Four layers make up each of the facade’s individual plates, and 16 process steps were used to create each layer.

Each panel was installed separately during the exterior facades for more than an 18-month installation period.
